How to Know the Windows Computer Specifications

Many of us do not know about computer specs owned. For example, we do not understand the Operating System that is installed on the computer, do not know how much memory (RAM), do not know how many bits of the computer, etc. Sometimes if there is damage, we are confused and do not know what to do.

Each type of computer, like a PC, laptop or notebook, has its own specifications, as well as the brand. Here we will find out some basic information about the computer's specifications.

In this tutorial, I am using Windows. To know the computer's specifications, we can click on the Start menu>>Control Panel>>System & Security>>System. There will be visible all the information about the computers we have, among which are:

-Windows Edition: This explains about the version of Windows running on the computer, whether Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or the others.

-System: This explains about the type of processor, speed, how much memory (RAM) installed, what type of system (whether 32-bit or 64-bit), etc. If the processor in our computer there are 2, both will be seen.

-Computer Name, domain and workgroup: It defines the computer name, domain, and workgroup information. Here we can also change settings such as the description of the computer.

-Windows Activation: This explains that we use Windows genuine. Here will be written Windows is activated and there is a product ID number.
